THE ROSE BOWL - Metallica continued the Worldwired Tour 2017 at Rose Bowl Stadium on Saturday in support of their 10th studio album release Hardwired To Self Destruct. The stage used for the tour is massive and features a giant multipart screen where live and pre-recorded video can be shown. The screen also doubles as a background which displays a plethora of lighting combinations. A circular catwalk in front of the stage not only allows Metallica to get close to the fans in the front row, but allows for VIP ticket holders to enjoy the show right in the middle of it. An estimated 90,000 fans were in attendance to see the band play songs from their 36 year career, and experience Metallica's pyrotechics display. Avenged Sevenfold opened the show.
