STAPLES CENTER, Los Angeles - Drake kicked off seven sold-out LA shows at Staples Center on Friday night in promotion of his latest record Scorpion and as part of the Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour. The first of three concerts was at Staples Center and the remaining four will be at The Forum. Night one included 33 songs, including surprise guest Chris Brown to perform Lil Dicky's "Freaky Friday." Migos opened the show.
The stage production for Drake's tour consists of a giant stage made up of 288 video decks. The custom design was created by TAIT and also features an Austrian curtain to display the concert giving fans a 360 degree view of the performance. The video content consists of live footage of Drake and his guests at the show as well as clips from music videos and other video art designed for the tour.
The tour continues in Inglewood at The Forum on Tuesday which is the first of four consecutive nights just before his birthday on October 24th. Happy early Birthday Drake!
